Fundraising Award Winners

Felicity Plew and Family

Mercer SuperCycle is thrilled to introduce fundraising awards to recognise the teams, riders and support crew who have gone above and beyond with their fundraising efforts.

The funds raised from Mercer SuperCycle go towards supporting country cancer patients and their families by building family-style accommodation near major cancer treatment hospitals in Adelaide, South Australia. This is achieved with our partnership with The Hospital Research Foundation’s Under Our Roof project.

The outstanding fundraising efforts of Mercer SuperCycle has seen the construction of two Under Our Roof houses located in Woodville West near The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. A third home-away-from-home is currently being built in Bowden, located close to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

This year’s ride was to raise funds towards a fourth Under Our Roof house to meet the ever-growing demand. To further motivate riders there were awards in the following categories:

  • Highest Fundraising Team (total)
  • Highest Fundraising Team (per capita)

  • Highest Fundraiser
  • Runner Up
