Mercer SuperCycle is delighted to announce a three-year sponsorship agreement with one of South Australia’s leading medical imaging providers, Dr Jones & Partners.
Mercer SuperCycle holds an annual charity cycling event which raises money for The Hospital Research Foundation’s (THRF) Under Our Roof homes.
THRF’s two Under Our Roof homes provide much-needed accommodation for country cancer patients to stay with their families while receiving treatment at hospitals in Adelaide. One of the homes will now be known as Dr Jones & Partners House to recognise the partnership.
“Dr Jones & Partners has been a Mercer SuperCycle team and dinner sponsor since 2015 and I’m thrilled they have committed to supporting the event in a larger capacity for another three years,” Dawn Garrett, Mercer SuperCycle Chair, said.
“Through the generous support of all our sponsors and riders, we are excited to be funding a third Under Our Roof home in Adelaide to help even more country cancer patients during a tough time in their lives.”
Paul Flynn, Chief Executive Officer of THRF, said it was fantastic to have Dr Jones & Partners involved.
“Dr Jones & Partners is a proud South Australian business who is generously giving back through its support of Mercer SuperCycle and Under Our Roof,” he said.
“With their support, we can continue providing family-style accommodation for patients from the country to stay near South Australia’s leading cancer treatment hospitals in Adelaide while receiving treatment.”
David Coorey, Chief Executive Officer of Dr Jones & Partners, was pleased to be on board as a major sponsor.
“We have clinics right across South Australia so working with Mercer SuperCycle and THRF to give back to a cause that reaches out to country patients is the perfect fit for us,” David said.
“The Under Our Roof homes are a much-needed asset for the community and make a real difference to the lives of rural families living with cancer.”
