It’s more fun being part of a Team on Mercer SuperCycle and certainly makes fundraising easier.
It’s more fun being part of a Team and certainly makes fundraising easier. So get a team of 4 riders or more together and you can collectively hold fundraising functions and assist each other in training. Fear not, if you can’t find riders to make up the numbers, we will link you up with others in the same position to put a team together.
Each team will need to nominate a captain and teams will also be asked to lead the peloton for several stages of the ride.
Each team will have a Team Sponsor. Find out more about Team Sponsorship by visiting the Sponsors page.
Mercer SuperCycle offers all our riders a significant training program to prepare you for the challenge both physically and mentally, and gain maximum enjoyment! This program is designed to build fitness, allow all riders to get to know each other, bring some consistency to peloton riding skills and signals and practice riding as you will on Mercer SuperCycle.
A comprehensive Training Guide will be provided to you upon registration. This is includes a handy calendar with a breakdown of suggested training routes (depending on your state), formats and intensity to build your technique and fitness for Mercer SuperCyle. Some of these rides are group rides and others you can do independently. Our Lead Marshalls will support you through the training program and are on hand to answer any questions. This Training Guide is exclusive to registered riders and is will help make your planning and preparation for Mercer SuperCycle simple and even more rewarding. Register now to get your copy.
